WORK FROM HOME & HOME BUSINESS : Fake it until you make it
Yesterday, when listening to an old but always actual speech by charismatic founder legend of Herbalife, Mark Hughes, it just occurred to me that while you can "Fake it until you make it" in the normal offline environment (… just look around in today's Eldorado of debt ..:), this may be impossible on the transparent - and in that sense - unforgiving Internet.
Although "free" seems to be the mantra… there's a price we always pay and clearly, there's no way to operate on credit. BUY NOW - PAY NOW.
Offline, you can polish up your facade by borrowing a 'designer look', glueing on pink hamster nails and putting on a "millionaire's attitude" that yells "great!!!!!!!!!!" before anyone ever asked … but this part of the 'show' is simply irrelevant on the web. Think about it! While the egalitarian aspect of the online environment has its drawbacks, it also levels out the playground in a way that those who rise beyond amateurism by truly working on their brand and reputation do and always will stand out.
Eventually, effort pays.

ECOMMERCE AND THE SEMIOMANITCS ADVANTAGE
We are focusing on the Home Business and Work From Home Industry, not huge Corporates. Although, there too… and as we have seen with the Semiomantics formula: the unknown David with the right script and skill can beat the Goliaths on their way to the top of Google. And it's at the top of Google - the first 2 pages - where the real music plays, where there is exposure and competition of the best. This is the fierce war zone where you have to be… And stay.

Before that, you simply don't exist.
As such it is imperative to define yourself in the Ecommerce arena as to who you are and what your business is. Invest time, lots of thought and some money into researching your Niche and then making a choice you will stick to until you 'have made it'. Be clear on whether you sell your own product or service? Or someone else's?

As a third option, you may want to sell advertising space?
These are really the 3 main choices from where you define your business profile with the relevant keywords… and your products.
