Make Money with Affiliate Programs

In last night's call we have looked at 6 ways to earn money from affiliate programs. Here they are:

• 1.      Pay-per Sale: you earn on every sale either a flat fee or a percentage. This principle is used for single purchases or subscriptions. (Example: ClickBank)
  
   
  2.      Pay-per-Action (leads and sign-ups for example): you are paid for referring a prospect or for a sign-up triggered by you or for providing leads. The conversion is easier here than on Pay-per Sale plans, however the earnings per conversion is often quite low. (Example: Dating Networks)
  
   
  3.      Pay-per Click: Google AdSense is probably the most popular PPC. You earn on every click visitors make on Google Ads displayed on your site.
  
   
  4.      Pay-per-Post: you are paid for posting articles and reviews. It’s easy to earn, however the income potential is limited as you are not allowed to promote affiliate links alongside the review or article. Bloggers use this model frequently. (Review Networks)
  
   
  5.      Pay-per-Call: Merchants pay for referred phone calls (instead of clicks or opt-ins).
  
   
  6.      Broker programs: you are paid on sales triggered by affiliates you referred. These are also called “two-tier” programs or webmaster referral programs (these are not multi-level-programs). A popular example is PayPal, whereas you refer new customers to PayPal and earn on PayPal’s earnings from that new customer account.
   
  Many merchants offer combinations of the above models. Pay-per-Sales are particularly attractive for their high earning potential namely if you use the endorsement strategies as lined out later in this book.
