Leads are generated based on traffic, that is visitors to a site containing an opt-in form. Visitors opt in because they are invited to join a community, to subscribe to a newsletter, an ezine or to obtain something for free. Also visitors become buyers and join often automatically mailing lists, customer databases and such like.
